  • Founded by the Harapan Kita Foundation on December 22, 1979 with the name Harapan Kita Children's and Maternity Hospital, abbreviated as RSAB Harapan Kita - 1979
  • The management of the hospital was officially handed over to the Government (Ministry of Health) in June 1998 - 1998
  • Changed the legal status to a State-Owned Company (Perjan) based on the Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation No. 127 concerning the Establishment of the State-Owned Company RSAB Harapan Kita dated December 12, 2000 - 2000
  • Changed its name to Harapan Kita Children's and Mother's Hospital based on the Decree of the Minister of Health No. 271/Menkes/SK/II/2005 dated February 23, 2005 - 2005
  • Changed the legal entity status to Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Based on the Letter of the Minister of Health No. 861/MENKES/VI/2005 dated July 16, 2005 - 2005
  • Changed the legal status to a Class A Special Hospital Based on the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 244/MENKES/SK/VII/2012 dated July 23, 2012 - 2012
  • Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. HK.02.02/MENKES/172/2016 concerning the Determination of the Children's Hospital and Bunda Harapan Kita Jakarta as a Teaching Hospital - 2016
  • 2019. Based on the Decree of the Minister of Health No. HK.01.07/Menkes/638/2019 concerning the Harapan Kita Jakarta Children's and Mother's Hospital as a Maternal and Child Health Center - 2019
